Stacey Lane, author of Skinny Miss S. Was Very Depressed, donated a copy of her book to the Brentwood Public Library, which is a part of the Los Angeles Public Library Network. Stacey Lane gave the book to one of the grateful librarians who remarked at the artistic vibrancy of the book. Stacey Lane and the librarian had a conversation about Stacey Lane’s upcoming book Bixby B., which addresses Aspirger’s Syndrome among other things. The librarian had a frank discussion with Stacey Lane regarding her son’s autism. Stacey Lane was able to ask numerous incisive questions concerning autism due to the current research she is conducting for her second book. The Brentwood Public Library is considering having Stacey Lane conduct a book reading at the library.
